*Overview*

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Bartender / Front Desk team member to join One Eyed Jack Oshawa Team

*Responsibilities*

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide personalized recommendations.
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Silverware POS handle cash handling with integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and prevent over-serving or intoxication.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
• Keep track of inventory levels for bar supplies and ingredients, restocking as needed to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.

*Skills*

• Proven experience in bartending or food service roles within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Silverware POS
• Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding legal requirements related to alcohol service.

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 ? 40.0 per week

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Bartending: 2 years (preferred)
