Onar Seaside Lounge, a sophisticated multi-purpose venue in Loutraki, Chania, and a member of the Oniros Experience Group, is seeking a Host / Hostess to staff the reception position ahead of the 2027 summer season.

Your tasks

Responsibilities

• Receiving and welcoming guests with politeness and professionalism.
• Managing reservations and coordinating guest arrivals.
• Organizing and allocating tables in collaboration with the service team.
• Providing information regarding the services and facilities of the venue.
• Managing telephone calls and reservation requests.
• Efficiently managing guest flow, especially during peak hours.
• Continuous communication and cooperation with the service team and management for the smooth operation of the venue.
• Maintaining high hospitality standards and a professional image.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals with a pleasant presence, excellent communication skills, and professionalism, who love customer service and wish to be the first point of contact for guests at our venue.

The role of reception is crucial for creating a positive first impression and a complete hospitality experience. We are looking for people with organizational skills, politeness, and an orientation toward quality service, who can respond effectively to a dynamic, high-demand environment.

Required Qualifications

• Pleasant, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Very good knowledge of English, while knowledge of additional foreign languages will be particularly appreciated.
• Organizational skills and proficiency in multitasking.
• Politeness, discretion, and an orientation toward excellent customer service.
• Responsibility, consistency, and team spirit.
• Ability to manage demanding situations with composure and professionalism.
• Familiarity with reservation systems will be considered an additional asset.
• Previous experience in a similar position, in hotels, or in premium hospitality venues will be particularly appreciated.
