Junior Technical Project Manager

About the job

We are looking for junior technical project managers who will contribute to our team delivering advanced and high-performance electronics and sensors to our customers within the space segment. You will be based at our office in Göteborg.

We are looking for you who want to develop within project management. You will work in a dynamic environment with a high tempo, exciting projects, and challenging deadlines. You have a technical background with some experience in project management or similar.

Primarily, you will contribute by providing support and relief to the main project manager in larger projects, but you can also lead smaller individual projects. Tasks may include being responsible for a sub-project or ensuring that progress with external suppliers occurs according to plan. The goal is to contribute to ensuring projects are carried out according to set goals regarding time, quality, and delivery. You will work closely with technical specialists, project managers, and other stakeholders in an operation with high requirements for quality and precision.

Tasks:

• Lead smaller technical development projects or sub-projects
• Lead and follow up with subcontractors through reports, status meetings, and ongoing dialogue
• Plan, lead, and document meetings as well as ensure that decisions and activities are followed up
• Analyze project plans and schedules to identify risks, deviations, and potential delays
• Coordinate status reporting together with technical experts and project management
• Work together with colleagues to develop project plans
• Organize and maintain project data, report and communicate about the projects' progress activities to relevant stakeholders
• Maintain a close dialogue with colleagues and teams to discuss project challenges and solutions
• Support the development and maintenance of processes and other documentation

You:

• Have a relevant technical background – preferably a civilingenjör in microwave technology or electronics
• Previous experience working with international suppliers
• Have a good understanding of complex technical systems and development projects
• Understanding of and interest in project economics and cost tracking
• Are analytical, structured, and have a good ability to see connections and identify risks
• Thrive in a coordinating role with many contact surfaces
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience from small or medium-sized companies is meritorious
