Site Maintenance Engineer

OMEGA Refrigeration is looking for an experienced Site Maintenance Engineer specializing in commercial and industrial refrigeration systems . This is a site-based role that requires regular visits to customer and project sites to handle refrigeration installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

Perform and supervise the installation of refrigeration systems and equipment at project and customer sites.

Perform testing and commissioning of newly installed refrigeration systems.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites.

Diagnose refrigeration system faults and identify root causes accurately.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related problems.

Handle refrigeration components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, fans, and related equipment.

Check operating pressures, temperatures, controls, and overall system performance.

Respond to breakdowns and technical issues at customer sites and follow up until problems are fully resolved.

Read and follow technical drawings, system layouts, and electrical/control diagrams.

Supervise and coordinate technicians during installation and maintenance activities.

Follow up on site activities and ensure work is completed according to technical requirements and schedules.

Identify required materials, spare parts, and equipment for installation and maintenance work.

Prepare site, installation, maintenance, and service reports.

Ensure all site work complies with required technical and safety standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.

3–5 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration installation and maintenance.

Strong practical knowledge of commercial and/or industrial refrigeration systems .

Previous site-based experience is required .

Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.

Good knowledge of refrigeration cycles, system components, piping, electrical systems, and controls.

Ability to read technical drawings and electrical/control diagrams.

Strong follow-up, supervision, and problem-solving skills.

Ability and willingness to travel regularly between customer and project sites.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Having a personal car is preferred.

A car fuel allowance will be provided for work-related site travel.
