General Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant to support the daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has solid accounting fundamentals, hands-on ERP experience (preferably Odoo), and can independently manage daily accounting transactions.

Responsibilities Record daily accounting transactions accurately.

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Perform bank reconciliations.

Follow up on customer collections and supplier payments.

Assist in treasury and cash management activities.

Prepare journal entries and month-end closing entries.

Reconcile customer, supplier, and general ledger accounts.

Prepare VAT and tax-related documentation.

Maintain fixed asset and inventory accounting records.

Support internal and external audits.

Generate accounting reports as requested by management.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.

5–7 years of accounting experience.

Practical experience in: Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Treasury

Bank Reconciliation

General Ledger

Month-End Closing

Experience using ERP systems; Odoo is highly preferred.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Good understanding of Egyptian tax regulations and VAT.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Very good English is a must
