Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of sales and purchase contracts, including pricing, quantities, delivery schedules, and related commercial terms;
- Coordinate shipments, freight arrangements, and import/export documentation;
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, warehouses, and other service providers;
- Monitor shipment progress and ensure timely fulfilment of contractual and delivery requirements;
- Assist with market research, sourcing, sales, and business development activities;
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, finance, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth business execution;
- Monitor freight and logistics costs and support cost optimisation initiatives.
- Prepare logistics, shipment, and operational reports;
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and other projects as required;
- Occasional overseas travel may be required for customer/supplier visits, site visits, and industry events;
- Any other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Entry-level candidates and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in trading, logistics, supply chain, or related industries will have an added advantage;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel;
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
