Quality Assurance Specialist
Since 1956, Konstantopoulos S.A. «Olymp» has been one of the leading Greek export companies in the edible olives and olive oil sector — with a presence in 60+ countries worldwide, facilities in Katerini and Kalamata, and 400+ employees. As part of our steady evolution and the expansion of our activities, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist for our team in Katerini.
The Role
The position reports to the Head of the Quality Assurance Department and combines daily collaboration with our international customers with structured training in food safety standards. A substantial foundation for anyone wishing to evolve in the field of quality. Full-time, five-day employment at our facilities in Katerini.
What you will do
- Entry and updating of technical product and packaging specifications on customer platforms
- Management of customer documentation (certificates of analysis, declarations of conformity, certificates)
- Preparation for and participation in audits by certification bodies (BRCGS, IFS) and customers
- Support of the HACCP food safety system
- Participation in staff training and the company's food safety culture program
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Food Science & Technology, Chemistry, Agriculture, or a related field
- Knowledge of HACCP principles
- Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Very good use of MS Office, especially Excel
- Accuracy, organization, and willingness to take responsibility
- Experience in a food industry quality department, with customer platforms and private label products, as well as knowledge of BRCGS/IFS standards will be particularly appreciated
