Junior DevOps / ELK Engineer

Salary range: 27.000€ - 38.200€ annual gross.

Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or 0–2 years of hands-on experience in IT environments;
• Foundational understanding of observability concepts (logs, metrics, traces, golden signals);
• Exposure to or strong willingness to learn the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats) and OpenTelemetry;
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows commands, Git, CI/CD concepts, REST APIs, and containers (Docker/Kubernetes);
• Professional English C1 (mandatory); availability for on-call support and hybrid work in Lisbon (valid EU work permit required).

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and supporting Elastic Stack components across multi-platform environments;
• Execute health checks, routine maintenance, and alert verification following established runbooks;
• Support application teams with onboarding, log collection setup, basic dashboards, and alerts;
• Participate in release execution, incident handling, and ticket resolution under senior guidance;
• Maintain clear operational documentation and adhere to team governance, coding standards, and CI/CD practices;
• Collaborate within Agile teams to communicate progress and escalate technical risks early.
