Role Description The Trichologist at Okunriin will provide expert scalp and hair health consultations, including detailed assessments, diagnosis of common hair and scalp concerns, and development of personalized treatment plans. The trichologist is also expected to perform advanced hair & scalp treatments. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting in-person appointments, documenting client histories, monitoring treatment progress, and educating clients on long-term hair and scalp care routines. The role involves close collaboration with the grooming and wellness teams to align trichology services with the brand’s holistic self-care philosophy, and contributing to educational content or workshops. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lekki, requiring consistent client interaction and hands-on care. Qualifications

Professional training or certification in trichology, dermatology, cosmetology, or a related field, with proven expertise in scalp and hair health. Strong consultation and assessment skills, including the ability to diagnose common hair and scalp conditions and recommend appropriate treatments. Excellent client communication skills, with a focus on empathy, cultural awareness, and the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language. Perform advanced treatments with the use of the latest advanced machines and modern techniques. Experience working in a clinical, salon, or wellness environment, preferably with a focus on men’s grooming or hair care. Ability to maintain detailed and accurate client records, follow health and safety protocols, and adhere to professional confidentiality standards. Interest in holistic wellness approaches, including lifestyle, nutrition, and stress management as they relate to hair and scalp health. Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with multidisciplinary teams to design integrated self-care experiences. Availability for full-time, on-site work in Lekki, and flexibility to accommodate client schedules, including evenings or weekends as needed.
