Project Manager in the field of Future Programs Exploration, Space Safety (m/f/d) (Project Manager / Project Manager)

Your Tasks

• Support in the planning and implementation of national & international space projects in the field of "Future Programs," i.e., particularly in the creation of implementation offers
• Depending on the level of experience gained, also independent management of the aforementioned projects/offers
• Planning of projects and offers in relation to the required personnel, time, and cost framework
• Depending on previous experience, also implementation of projects with operational responsibility for the
• Compliance with specifications regarding quality, schedule, and budget
• Central point of contact for customers
• Technical leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary project and offer teams (including Engineering, Product Assurance, Manufacturing, Controlling, Project Office)

Your Qualifications

• Master's degree or comparable degree in engineering sciences or Engineering Management – ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of project management, ideally with corresponding certificates (IPMA, PMI, or comparable)
• Broad technical system understanding
• Ideally several years of professional experience as a Project Manager or technical Lead Engineer in the field of satellites or spacecraft
• Experience in leading or controlling teams as well as a high degree of social competence, communication strength, and team orientation
• Quick comprehension and enjoyment in exploring new subject areas and technologies
• Structured, analytical, and efficient way of working, high sense of responsibility
• Very good English skills, German skills are an advantage
