Construction Superintendent - Structure / FPSO

The Structure Superintendent reports to construction manager. Responsible for productivity and quality by executing, managing, and coordinating all site activities related to Structure and delivering the assigned fabrication / integration yard work scope. Meeting the stipulated HSSE, Quality, engineering and project specifications within specified timeline and to the satisfaction of the client. Structure Superintendent is assisted by Structure supervisors. Independent on regular nature of work, uses personal experience, Team Works, applies relevant company policies and procedures.

Oversees all site Structure execution by planning, managing, coordinating construction, commissioning, pre-operation execution strategy and day to day activities. Provide overall technical direction to the Structure construction, Coordinates project execution and planning with the relevant parties, departments, and agencies.

1. Ensure that site document control procedures are being followed and all latest revision Structure documents received, filed, and distributed to concerned parties.

1. Review and ensure sub-contractors detailed overall relevant Structure planning, schedules, manning levels are aligned with company’s expectations.

1. Attend relevant Structure weekly / monthly meetings with sub-contractors, third parties, client and communicate all requirements and concerns related to the project.

1. Prepare and issue Structure weekly / monthly reports and forecast, including summary of Structure progress, manning requirement forecast and make recommendations as necessary.

1. Ensure that all relevant Structure construction milestone dates can be achieved as per schedule.

1. Ensure all sub-contractor’s Structure relevant procedures and method statements are acceptable and issued to relevant parties.

1. Coordinate the site Structure personnel and ensure they fully understand their roles and responsibilities for the duties they are assigned.

1. Assign and organize all required site Structure personnel to ensure sub-contractors and vendors are completing all Structure construction activities and fully complying with company procedures and quality and HSSE expectations/requirements where needed to meet targeted schedules.

1. Review site Structure personnel daily reports for progress, concerns, and mitigations.

1. Review and ensure Structure material delivery is aligned with forecast schedule and coordinate and expedite any shortfalls.

1. Ensure sub-contractor has sufficient work front and provide mitigation plan on those delayed Structure deliverables if any.

1. Review and ensure vendors are mobilized when required as per schedule.

1. Ensure all Structure systems are completed as per priorities and commissioning sequence.

1. Prepare and issue detailed work packs for integration and carry over works.
