Senior Programme Officer
(4-Month Contract | Potential to Go Permanent) Location: Cannon Street, London - 1 day in the office Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 pro rata Contract: 4-Month FTC with strong potential to become permanent Immediate start Are you an experienced Programme Officer or Project Manager looking to make a positive impact on communities across London? We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Programme Officer to support the delivery of a major London-wide initiative focused on improving the energy efficiency of homes, reducing fuel poverty, and helping residents benefit from lower energy bills and more sustainable living. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile programme at a pivotal stage, working with local authorities, delivery partners and residents to ensure successful project outcomes. The Role As Senior Programme Officer, you will play a key role in coordinating programme delivery, stakeholder engagement and communications across a large-scale housing and environmental improvement initiative. Key responsibilities will include: Acting as a key liaison point for local authority partners and delivery stakeholders Building and maintaining strong relationships across multiple organisations Coordinating meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities Supporting the delivery of programme objectives within agreed timescales and budgets Managing communications and engagement materials across various channels Monitoring project progress and helping resolve delivery challenges Producing reports, presentations and briefings for senior stakeholders Responding to enquiries and ensuring a positive experience for residents and partners throughout the project journey
About You We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and brings: Experience delivering projects or programmes within the public sector, housing, sustainability, environment, energy efficiency or built environment sectors Strong stakeholder management and partnership-building skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Experience producing reports, presentations and briefing papers The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Outstanding planning, organisational and problem-solving skills Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external partners
