Engineer / Technician Technical Documentation (m/f/d)

We are expanding our team and filling this position in Düsseldorf, Aachen, Bocholt, Bochum, Dortmund, Duisburg, Essen, Köln, Krefeld, Lüdenscheid, Mönchengladbach, Münster and Wuppertal.

Your Job

• You create and update project-specific documentation as well as operating and maintenance instructions in textual and graphical form for our customers' systems and machines
• You monitor the documentation-relevant requirements during the procurement process (creation of specifications)
• In addition, you support the project managers in creating, organizing, and quality testing project-specific documentation
• You clarify customer requirements for documentation with international contact persons and coordinate translations
• You also assist in the implementation and documentation of risk assessments
• You are the contact person for documentation topics within the department and support the introduction of new editorial or document management systems

Your Potential

• Further training completed with joy and success as a Techniker, alternatively a successfully completed degree in the field of Elektrotechnik or Maschinenbau
• Ideally, you have an additional editorial qualification, such as that of a technischer Redakteur (m/f/d)
• You bring knowledge of the applicable legal bases, guidelines, standards, and quality standards in the field of documentation
• Ideally, you have knowledge of editorial systems, SAP and document management systems
• In addition to good English skills, you bring a willingness to travel domestically and abroad
• Your strengths include your goal-oriented and structured way of working, excellent teamwork and communication skills, assertiveness, hands-on mentality, and a strong technical understanding
