We are looking to hire 1 candidate to join our salon team.

We are searching for an experienced, confident, passionate dualist to join our salon team that is able to take on immediate clientele. Completion of a hair styling program is a requirement. A license is an asset, but not required. Oligo & Aveda product knowledge is an asset, but not a requirement.

Our ideal candidate is driven, passionate, hard-working, willing to invest in their career, not afraid to stand out, and possesses leadership qualities. They are experienced with cutting, styling, and colouring hair using various techniques. They have a minimum of 2 years experience in salon - not including in school. They are team oriented individuals who are excited to be a part of a professional salon team.

Odyssey Hair Salon & Spa is a well established Aveda salon & spa with a 4.8 google rating that comes from well over 600 reviews, and over 16 years of servicing clients. We are active on social media, constantly promoting the business and each other. We offer a positive and progressive learning environment. Our owner is an Aveda institute graduate with over 20 years experience cutting & styling hair, and we have 2 Master colour technicians on staff. New guests book with our team daily.

We are located at 1575 Upper Ottawa St in a high traffic, growing and dynamic area.

Pay is either hourly or commission (plus tips & commission on product sales), and will be determined by level of experience. This position is available on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on experience and clientele, with the opportunity to transition into full-time as your schedule grows.

Performing a service on a model may be required as a part of the interview process.

Pay: $18.00-$40.00 per hour
