Senior Creative Designer

Working time: Mon-Fri (8AM - 5PM, lunch break: 12PM - 1PM). Working location: FL5, ASG Tower, 683-685 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thanh My Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

ABOUT THE ROLE

• This is not a Typical Graphic design role.
• At ODM Group, you will design real products, packaging, and branded merchandise used in global marketing campaigns.
• Your work will move from concept → design → production → real-world use.
• Engage in daily communication and coordination with cross-functional global teams. Strong working-level English communication skills are essential.
• If your experience is only digital or social media design, this role is not a fit.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Product & Packaging Design (Core Focus)

• Develop concepts for promotional products, gift sets, and branded merchandise
• Design packaging systems and product applications for real-world campaigns
• Ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and commercially viable

1. Concept Development & Creative Thinking

• Translate campaign ideas into clear product directions
• Think beyond visuals — consider usage, experience, and impact

1. Collaboration with Commercial & Production Teams

• Work with Sales and Merchandising to adapt designs based on: client needs, budgets, timelines
• Refine concepts based on real-world constraints

1. Supporting Graphic & Content Design (Secondary)

• Create supporting visuals such as:
• Blog images
• Presentation slides
• Simple marketing assets
• Ensure visual consistency across product concepts and content

1. Present & Communicate Ideas

• Explain your design thinking clearly
• Present concepts internally and improve based on feedback

Job requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

MUST HAVE

• Degree in Graphic Design / Industrial Design
• 4–6 years experience in a design role
• Strong portfolio (required)

YOUR PORTFOLIO MUST SHOW:

• Packaging, product, or physical design work
• Clear thinking process (not just final images)
• Ability to translate ideas into real-world applications

NOT A FIT IF YOU:

• Only design social media content or digital graphics
• Rely heavily on templates or basic tools
• Prefer execution over idea development
• Cannot explain your design decisions
