Aircraft Maintenance and Control Specialist - Bogotá urgent

Are you passionate about aeronautical strategy and real-time problem solving? We are looking for an MCC Specialist to become the brain of our technical operation. In this role, you will monitor the status of our global fleet, diagnose incidents remotely, and coordinate the necessary actions to guarantee the maximum safety and punctuality of our flights.

ACADEMIC TRAINING:

Technician in aeronautical maintenance / Non-commissioned officer of Technical Sub-chief grade or higher, active or retired, with a specialty in Technical Aeronautical Maintenance, both with a TMA license and certification in at least two (2) of the equipment operated by the Airline (ATR 42/72 SERIES).

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

• Technical Aeronautical English
• Mastery and experience in the handling of computer systems in aeronautical maintenance
• Handling and interpretation of national and International aeronautical regulations
• Handling and interpretation of technical and legal aircraft documentation in aeronautical maintenance
• Handling and interpretation of technical and operational manuals

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum four (4) years of experience in aeronautical Maintenance or aeronautical Engineering.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform continuous monitoring of aircraft airworthiness through communication with the CCO and crews to obtain information on aircraft failures in line.
2. In AOG events, coordinate failure attention with the maintenance manager of the OMA and support the OMA technicians in the analysis and evaluation of actions to return aircraft to service in the shortest time possible.
3. Maintain control of MEL deferred reports.
4. Identify repetitive failures with information from previous days' reports, also supported by reliability information from the Airworthiness Management area; perform the analysis of maintenance actions carried out and inform the development of previous maintenance activities to the OMA, to provide continuity to troubleshooting works.
5. Evaluate troubleshooting for deferred reports that so require, evaluating needs for personnel, tools, materials, and facilities. When necessary, coordinate or generate needs for the OMA Logistics Processes Area and perform the respective follow-up.
6. Coordinate together with the OMA and the Airworthiness Management area, during daily scheduling meetings, the troubleshooting works to be developed during maintenance periods so that they are as effective and productive as possible.
7. Generate NRW work orders, with the description of the troubleshooting works coordinated with the OMA, for the effective resolution of deferred or critical reports reported during daily operation.
8. Follow up on the daily compliance of troubleshooting works for repetitive reports and deferred reports.
9. Inform the Airworthiness Manager of the daily availability of the aircraft according to the fleet condition once overnight maintenance activities are carried out.
10. Inform the Airworthiness Manager when failure or malfunction reports of chapter III of the MCM are presented to make the respective reports to the manufacturers and the UAEAC. Additionally, reports associated with the execution of OMA works that may give rise to warranty claims.
11. Provide technical question support to the Operations Direction and its crews.
12. Verify and agree with the CCO the technical delays generated by the OMA during operation.
13. Monitor and receive information on maintenance works performed by the OMA during transits.
14. Ensure compliance, updating, disclosure, and reporting of matters concerning the Quality Management System.
15. Comply with the guidelines established by the Company in procedures, manuals, instructions, guides, and directives.
16. Other functions that may be assigned to them and that correspond to the nature of their position through a duly signed and legalized document before the Human Talent Direction.
