We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Data Analytics to lead our Commercial Data hub (called pods). This is primarily a business partner role: you will deeply understand the challenges of the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams, define the right problems to solve with them, and translate these needs into high-value data solutions.
You will be responsible for driving the hub and guaranteeing the quality, business relevance, and impact of the deliverables.
Your missions will be as follows:
Be a business partner to the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams:
- Impact and agility are our priority: Initiate and develop high-impact data projects using the entire data toolbox (e.g., customer segmentation, cross-selling, etc.)
- Grow usage: Support the hub and business teams in the use of AI and its ability to create real value
Drive and manage the Commercial hub:
- Define the roadmap and strategy of the hub: Act as a prioritization relay in connection with the teams, ensuring that each project is delivered with a measurable impact
- Manage members of the Commercial hub: Support team members, foster collaboration, and support their professional development
- Ensure technical development: Ensure technical quality and clarity of modeling. Encourage the team to use the entire data toolbox (e.g., AI, Machine Learning) based on what is relevant
Contribute to the data strategy in France and within the group:
- Participate in pooling: Act as a relay to other teams and the group to contribute to pooling efforts
- Contribute to data animation in general: Participate in the animation of the data community in France and within the group
Profile sought:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist, with at least 2 years of experience in team management in a similar context
- Solid experience in commercial data analysis, predictive modeling, and reporting.
- Academic background in statistics / mathematics / economics, a specialized degree in data, or from an Engineering school with a strong appetite for Data
- Technical skills:
- Perfect mastery of data analysis tools (SQL, Python/R) and data modeling with DBT
- Comfortable with data visualization tools
- Know how to use AI on a daily basis and wisely
- Knowledge of Machine Learning or recommendation algorithms
- Interpersonal skills:
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple terms for a non-technical audience.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving; you are a driver in everything you undertake
- Languages:
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, to interact with our international colleagues.
