Test Manager – Technology

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across technology projects and applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the overall testing strategy, managing testing resources, ensuring quality standards, and working closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver reliable and high-quality solutions. This role requires strong experience in software testing, test management, stakeholder management, and quality assurance , with the ability to oversee multiple projects and testing workstreams concurrently. Key Responsibilities Test Strategy & Management Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, processes, and governance frameworks.

Manage end-to-end testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and Production Validation .

Define testing scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements, entry/exit criteria, and quality standards.

Ensure testing activities are aligned with project milestones and overall delivery timelines.

Establish appropriate testing methodologies, standards, metrics, and reporting mechanisms.

Test Execution & Quality Assurance Oversee test preparation, test case design, execution, defect management, and closure.

Ensure adequate test coverage across functional and non-functional requirements.

Review test results and assess overall solution readiness before production deployment.

Drive root-cause analysis for critical defects and recurring quality issues.

Identify testing risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans.

Automation & Continuous Improvement Drive adoption of test automation to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and quality.

Work closely with engineering teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines .

Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

Promote quality engineering practices across the technology organization.

Stakeholder & Team Management Lead and manage internal testing teams, vendors, and external testing partners where applicable.

Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, and Business Users .

Provide regular testing progress updates, quality metrics, defect status, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Facilitate defect triage meetings and coordinate resolution of critical issues.

Mentor and develop QA/Test Leads and testing team members.

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering , or a related discipline.

Typically 8+ years of experience in software testing / quality assurance , including experience leading complex testing programmes or teams.

Strong experience managing end-to-end testing across large-scale technology projects.

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and DevOps environments.

Hands-on knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail, ALM/Quality Center , or equivalent.

Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium , or equivalent would be advantageous.

Understanding of API testing, database testing, integration testing, performance testing, and automation testing .

Experience working with CI/CD environments and modern software engineering practices would be advantageous.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and testing teams in a fast-paced technology environment.
