Cybersecurity Presales Engineer

Daily tasks

• conducting dialogue with clients to verify their needs and select optimal services from the OChK portfolio (SOC as a Service, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Security Assessment),
• active cooperation with the sales department in identifying sales opportunities and designing security architecture based on Microsoft technologies (Sentinel, Defender XDR) and Google (SecOps),
• creating technical concepts, comprehensive quotes for managed services, and developing substantive inputs for requests for proposals (RFI/RFP/OPZ),
• preparing business presentations and presenting proof of concept for SIEM, SOAR, and XDR class solutions in client environments,
• organizing and conducting evaluation workshops showing the practical business value of external monitoring (SOC) and proactive threat analysis (CTI),
• verifying costs (TCO/ROI) and coordinating the flow of information between the client and internal OChK teams (SOC analysts, security engineers, cloud architects),
• collaborating with key technological partners (Microsoft, Google) regarding the positioning and development of the joint cybersecurity offering.

Requirements

Our requirements: minimum 3 years of experience in a Presales Engineer, Security Architect, or Cybersecurity Consultant position (preferred experience in Managed Security Services / SOC services), practical knowledge and experience in designing security solutions based on the Microsoft ecosystem (including MS Sentinel, MS Defender) and openness to Google technologies (SecOps), understanding of monitoring and incident response processes (SOC), Threat Intelligence (CTI) mechanisms, and audit methodologies (Security Assessment), the ability to smoothly translate complex technical issues and analysis results (e.g., mapping to MITRE ATT&CK) into the language of business benefits, experience in preparing project documentation, cost models for continuous services (Opex), and developing responses to RFI/RFP, fluency in conducting presentations, advisory workshops for clients, and test environments (PoC), knowledge of market security standards, methodologies, and current regulations (e.g., Zero Trust, ISO 27001, NIS2/KSC, DORA), very good knowledge of English in speaking and writing (min. B2), allowing for free cooperation with global technological partners.
