Front of House Hostess

Our client is a lively wine bar looking for a bubbly, welcoming Front of House Hostess. You’ll set the tone for every visit: polished, professional and a little bit fun.

Your tasks

•⁠ ⁠Welcome guests warmly and attend to all enquiries in person, by phone and online.Manage reservations and the waitlist.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Manage floor flow and table assignments to keep seating smooth and wait times short.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Manage event bookings, catering sales and event orders.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Respond to customers across phone, email, messaging and social channels.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Work closely with servers, sommeliers and bartenders to keep service seamless.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For •⁠ ⁠3–4 years of hosting, front of house or hospitality experience, preferably in semi-fine dining.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Bubbly, fun and outspoken personality, with the professionalism to match a wine bar.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Highly organised and calm under pressure during busy periods.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Experience with reservation systems is a plus.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Interest in or knowledge of wine is a plus.
