Job Description & Requirements

Job Scope

  • This role oversees the end-to-end movement and storage of goods, from inbound supply to outbound delivery, while keeping costs, quality, and compliance in check.

1. Supply & Procurement Coordination

  • Work with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods
  • Forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock
  • Manage supplier performance, contracts, and delivery timelines

2. Distribution & Transportation

  • Plan and coordinate domestic and overseas shipments via road, sea, or air
  • Select and manage 3PL partners, freight forwarders, and couriers for cost and efficiency
  • Track deliveries and resolve issues like delays, damages, or customs hold-ups
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation

3. Warehousing & Inventory Management

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Implement inventory control systems like FIFO, cycle counting, and stock audits
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage to maximize space utilization and workflow
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in WMS or ERP systems

4. Operations & Process Improvement

  • Develop SOPs for logistics and warehousing processes to improve efficiency and safety
  • Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery rate, order accuracy, inventory turnover, and cost per shipment
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to reduce cost and lead time

5. Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Supervise warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics coordinators
  • Liaise with sales, finance, and production teams to align supply with business needs
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies

6. Systems & Reporting

  • Manage WMS, TMS, and ERP systems for real-time visibility of stock and shipments
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory, logistics costs, and delivery performance for management
