Your tasks

We are seeking a skilled NOC Wireless Engineer to provide comprehensive managed network solutions for both Cellular/Public Safety DAS and Enterprise WiFi environments.

This role delivers advanced monitoring, management, and support services—ensuring optimal network performance, HSIA (High-Speed Internet Access) reliability, and mission-critical public safety communications infrastructure for our properties and clients.

Network Monitoring & Performance Management

  • Conduct extensive performance and traffic monitoring across Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and WLAN/WiFi architectures.
  • Monitor RF signal quality for cellular and WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz) to identify degradation patterns.
  • Implement usage data collection and generate actionable insights for both cellular and HSIA traffic.

System Administration & Maintenance

  • Perform scheduled firmware and software upgrades for rXg, Ruckus (SmartZone), Meraki, Aruba, and other OEM controllers.
  • Define and coordinate OAM (Operations, Administration, and Maintenance) routine schedules.
  • Maintain and update site-specific documentation, floor plans, and network maps.
  • Execute backup and restore procedures for network configurations and databases.

Incident & Change Management

  • Manage day-to-day tasks and follow-up communication to properties regarding escalated cases.
  • Perform technical impact analysis for proposed changes in both DAS and WiFi environments.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analysis (RCA) for network outages.
  • Coordinate with Cellular DAS deployment and construction teams for general deployment support.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose equipment failures, connectivity issues, and RF interference.
  • Work directly with vendors (Ruckus, Aruba, RGNets, ADRF, Comba, etc.) for complex issues requiring higher-level intervention.
  • Assist with field service dispatching and provide remote guidance to field technicians during on-site repairs or deployments.
