Project Engineer $3.5K - $4.5K + VB + Transport Provided - Marine / Oil & Gas (West Area)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fabrication projects from start to finish, managing planning, progress and delivery
• Prepare construction drawings, method statements, procedures, engineering calculations and risk assessments
• Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) lists and support procurement in selecting vendors
• Plan and deploy manpower, materials and equipment to keep work on schedule
• Develop Inspection and Test Plans with QA/QC and coordinate third-party inspections
• Track fabrication progress with the production team and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Address site issues and ensure all daily operations meet HSE standards

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Marine or Offshore discipline
• Minimum 2 years' experience in steel fabrication preferred
• Proficient in 2D AutoCAD, MS Office and MS Project; 3D modelling skills are a plus
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, industry standards and classification society rules
• Knowledge of steel materials, including grades, thicknesses and EN standards
• Practical knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW)
• Well-versed in project management and engineering calculations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with all levels of staff
