Lead Engineer – Power Systems (Diesel, & BESS) $7K - $8.5K + Bonus up to 3 months (Power Generator Field, West Area) Transport Provided

Responsibilities

• Monitor how products perform in the field and recommend ways to improve their reliability, efficiency, and safety
• Conduct technical reviews, testing, and validation for new designs
• Lead feasibility studies for potential new product lines
• Mentor engineers and technicians and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Ensure all engineering work complies with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• Keep up with advances in diesel generation, hybrid power, and battery energy storage systems (BESS), and propose and pilot promising technologies
• Evaluate new products and components together with suppliers and partners
• Support sales and business development teams with technical expertise during client discussions
• Deliver internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and certification bodies

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5–7 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of power generation, energy storage, and power distribution systems
• Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
• Familiarity with Singapore safety and regulatory standards is an advantage
