Barista

Oaks Coffee Co. is looking for baristas to join our team.

We’re looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced café environment and take pride in both making good coffee and creating a great experience for our guests.

As a barista, your role goes beyond the coffee bar. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day operations of the café , from preparing beverages to serving guests and keeping the space running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare coffee, matcha and other beverages to our standards
• Take orders and provide friendly, attentive service
• Handle cashiering and POS operations
• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Restock and maintain the coffee bar and service areas
• Support the team with general café operations
• Ensure a consistent and welcoming guest experience

What we’re looking for

• Previous café / barista experience is preferred
• Good knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation
• Comfortable working both behind the bar and on the floor
• Friendly, service-oriented and comfortable interacting with guests
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Responsible, punctual and a good team player
• Willing to learn and take initiative
