Job Objectives Responsible for the planning, administration, and control of the Distribution Plan and inventories of the Packaging logistics network, ensuring inventory optimization, distribution cost efficiency, and compliance with customer service levels. Strategically manages the warehouses and storage facilities of the plants under their responsibility, ensuring the accuracy, control, safeguarding, and efficient flow of Finished Product and MRO inventories, contributing to operational continuity and working capital optimization. Leads the management of vehicle and person traffic in the six AMC plants, as well as compliance with applicable regulations in storage, stacking, and safety, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance with assurance requirements. Directs and develops high-performance teams, promoting a culture of safety, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability. Is responsible for ensuring the certification and training of 100% of the personnel, guaranteeing the necessary competencies to execute their activities in accordance with the organization's standards and best practices. Likewise, ensures the monitoring of resources and operational capacities to maintain adequate inventory turnover under the PEPS methodology, at the lowest possible cost and guaranteeing a minimum service level of 98% in the OTIF indicator. Job Functions Warehouse and Storage Management in Plants Lead and ensure the efficient operation of the warehouses and storage facilities of the plants under their responsibility. Establish operating standards for reception, storage, picking, internal movements, control, and dispatch of materials and finished products. Guarantee the accuracy of physical inventories against the system through controls, audits, and storage best practices. Optimize the use of space, storage capacities, material handling equipment, and warehouse operational resources. Coordinate the implementation of continuous improvement, safety, order, and cleanliness methodologies in warehouses and distribution centers. Ensure compliance with corporate policies regarding safety, quality, and internal control related to warehouses and inventories. Evaluate and develop internal and external storage schemes that allow supporting business requirements at the lowest total cost. Implement digital transformation initiatives for the administration of warehouses, inventories, and material traceability. Preparation and execution of facility maintenance and improvement, from budget definition to administration. Monitoring and implementation of improvements derived from internal and external audit events, to maintain inventory control aligned with the Business's best accounting practices. Operational Leadership and Governance Coordinate and support the heads of Distribution, Inventories, and Warehouses of the different plants under their responsibility. Keep SCM process documentation related to distribution, inventories, and storage up to date. Define policies, procedures, controls, and indicators under their responsibility. Participate in and lead strategic projects focused on logistics efficiency, inventory optimization, cost reduction, and service improvement. Development of team skills and training, incorporating new technologies and technological tools that decrease manual activities, thereby improving the reliability, transparency, and real-time updating of information. Inventory Management Define, implement, and administer corporate inventory policies for Finished Product and MRO materials in all plants under their responsibility. Ensure optimal inventory levels that guarantee operational continuity, customer service levels, and working capital optimization. Monitor and analyze inventory indicators such as coverage, turnover, accuracy, obsolescence, days of inventory, and storage capacity utilization. Lead initiatives to reduce inventory differences, surpluses, obsolescence, and supply risks. Coordinate and ensure the correct execution of cycle counts and physical inventories, guaranteeing the integrity of records in corporate systems. Promote the recycling of packaging materials and other wood/plastic inputs that can be reused. Ensure correct administration and performance evaluation of outsourced services. Monitoring of LEMOBS inventories and the purging of inventories with no possibility of use/sale. Monitoring of TERMOPARES inventory, administration, inventory control, and recycling. Ensure compliance with all SOX control requirements inherent to inventory control.
Academic Background Industrial Engineer or related. Complementary training in Logistics.
Work Experience 8 to 10 years, managing multi-site plants (Several plants in different locations). Experience in inventory management, in export processes, and inventory turnover according to PEPS or FIFO.
Required Knowledge and Certifications Advanced Conversational English. (Mandatory) Industrial safety. Export related to logistics. APICS Certification in knowledge related to Supply Chain. BLACK BELT Certification.
Other Requirements Availability to travel (movement between plants). Own vehicle (a card is assigned to cover expenses for the required movements).
