As a Tax Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and computations
• Supporting senior members of the team with a variety of tax work
• Preparing supporting accounts and HMRC forms
• Liaising with clients, HMRC and other professionals
• Keeping client information and records up to date
• Working closely with the wider team and developing your technical knowledge

The ideal Tax Assistant will have:

• Some previous tax or accountancy experience
• A genuine interest in developing a career within tax
• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach
• Good communication skills
• A positive attitude towards learning and development
• The ability to work well as part of a team
