MISSIONS As part of the development of our innovative projects, you are responsible for the technical monitoring of activities entrusted to an external partner regarding the components of the primary and secondary circuits of the Nuward reactor. You act as a technical interface, guaranteeing the quality, compliance, and relevance of the studies and deliverables produced by our partner, in compliance with safety requirements. Reporting to the NSSS Technical Lead, you are responsible for the overall management of the development activities of the primary and secondary circuit components, from initial design to manufacturing, while respecting technical, cost, deadline, and risk objectives.

The associated missions are:

Technical management of services:

• Launch, frame, and monitor outsourced engineering services
• Ensure the technical management of entrusted activities
• Monitor industrialization studies and prototype development
• Monitor component manufacturing

Technical mastery of components:

• Act as a technical reference on components
• Contribute to the analysis of deviations, anomalies, or events

Interface and coordination:

• Act as the interface between our partner and internal EDF entities
• Lead technical reviews and project milestones
• Contribute to the monitoring of risks and opportunities
• Ensure reporting to management

Safety, quality, and regulation:

• Guarantee the consideration of requirements: nuclear safety, EDF frameworks, codes, and standards (RCC-M, ESPN)
• Participate in design reviews and regulatory files

Job location in Lyon with occasional travel to be expected at various NUWARD sites (Paris, Tours) and at partner sites.

PROFILE Experienced engineer with a focus on mechanics, materials, or equivalent. Sought experience:

• Practice in an industrial environment (Design, engineering);
• Experience in the nuclear environment;
• Practice of nuclear construction codes and, more generally, design / manufacturing / welding / associated materials / pressure equipment regulation standards;
• Solid knowledge in the mechanical field;
• Management of activities carried out by a Partner or subcontractor.
