Nustaff are currently recruiting an HR Assistant Advisor on behalf of Lincolnshire Police, based at their Nettleham HQ. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a busy, supportive HR Operations team delivering a first-class service across the Force.

The Role

You'll provide knowledgeable, consistent support across a range of HR case types, helping managers and colleagues navigate everything from attendance management to flexible working requests. You'll work closely with HR Advisers, the HR Business Partner and Senior Leadership Teams, playing a key role in keeping cases moving, records accurate, and stakeholders well informed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing HR cases including attendance management, flexible working, Occupational Health referrals, internal transfers and acting/temporary processes
  • Supporting limited duties processes, including recuperative reviews and adjusted duties
  • Providing first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and Senior Leadership Teams, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policy and procedure
  • Supporting fairness at work and disciplinary processes
  • Maintaining a comprehensive audit trail: case notes, formal letters, case files and system updates
  • Building strong working relationships with Line Managers across the Force
  • General case administration, cross-referencing trackers for consistency
  • Liaising with payroll on contract and role changes
  • Producing data and reports for Senior Leadership meetings
  • Coordinating workflow and queries across the HR Operations Team

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in an HR administrative role (essential)
  • Basic knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A team player who's self-motivated to learn and develop
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable
  • Experience with discipline, grievance or attendance case work desirable
  • A full driving licence is desirable, as some travel to other stations may be required

Hours & Pay

Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 16:30 Friday: 08:30 – 16:00 £17.97 PAYE or £23.73 Umbrella
