Platform Engineer (SDDC / VMware Cloud Foundation) (m/f/d) (DevOps Engineer)

Project Description

International infrastructure program for the construction and rollout of a modern Software-Defined Datacenter (SDDC) Private Cloud across several European locations. Infrastructure-as-Code-first approach on VMware and Cisco technology stack. Responsibility for platform design, implementation, and configuration of VMware Cloud Foundation 9 stacks, automation with Ansible and Terraform, Backup & Recovery with Rubrik, platform services, Security Hardening, Site Rollouts, Troubleshooting, documentation, and handover to operations.

Experience

• Hands-on VMware SDDC Engineering (vSphere/vSAN; VCF preferred) in an enterprise environment (at least 3 years)
• Practical Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Ansible, Terraform, and Git Workflows
• Experience in classified or security-critical environments
