Environmental Control Trainer

Job Description Curriculum Delivery & Facilitation Deliver classroom and/or synchronous e-learning training programmes for adult learners. Facilitate learning in areas such as: o Environmental legislation and the Environmental Sanitation (ES) Regime o Roles and responsibilities of Environmental Control Officers (ECOs) o Environmental health, infectious disease prevention, vector control, and food hygiene o Premises sanitation, cleaning and disinfection practices, indoor air quality, and waste management o Construction environmental management, including dust, noise, drainage, and erosion control measures o Vendor management and oversight of cleaning and pest control service providers Create an engaging and effective learning environment that promotes knowledge transfer and practical application. Programme Development & Industry Application Guide learners in developing and implementing Environmental Sanitation Programmes (ESP), Site Environmental Control Programmes (SECP), and related statutory documentation. Coach participants on conducting site inspections, identifying environmental non-compliance issues, and recommending corrective actions. Share industry best practices and practical insights aligned with NEA requirements and environmental management standards. Contribute to the continuous review and enhancement of training materials, case studies, and learning activities. Assessment & Learner Support Conduct assessments, facilitate case study discussions, and evaluate coursework in accordance with programme requirements. Prepare learners for licensing-related examinations and competency assessments. Provide constructive feedback and learner support to drive successful learning outcomes and high participant satisfaction. Requirements Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health, Public Health, Building/Facilities Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with NEA for Specified Premises (SP) and/or Specified Construction Sites (SCS). ACLP, ACTA, or equivalent adult education qualification recognized by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). Relevant industry experience in environmental health, sanitation, facilities management, environmental compliance, or construction environmental management. WSH or Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification will be an advantage. Prior adult training or facilitation experience preferred.
