Senior Associate, Workplace Safety & Health

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) team at NTUC Health HQ. Reporting directly to the WSH Manager, you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and enhancing our WSH and Prevention of Abuse & Harassment (PAH) frameworks across HQ and operational business units. Working closely with WSH and PAH committee members, you will strengthen our safety culture, risk governance, and regulatory compliance to ensure alignment with MOM, MOH, and national standards.
Your roles and responsibilities include:
Program Coordination & Secretariat Support
- Coordinate and administer organization-wide WSH and PAH policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Serve as the Secretariat for the WSH and PAH Committees, managing agendas, meetings, and follow-ups.
Incident Governance & Trend Analysis
- Support the administration of the ServiceNow portal for WSH and PAH incidents, ensuring accurate reporting, appropriate escalation, and timely resolution.
- Analyze incident data and trends to identify key risk areas, recommend targeted interventions, and strengthen preventive controls.
Risk Assessment & Compliance
- Assist in conducting organization-wide safety risk assessments, tracking safety observations, inspection findings, and corrective actions to ensure prompt closure.
- Research industry best practices and emerging trends in workplace safety and risk management to continuously improve internal frameworks.
Training, Capability Building & Engagement
- Plan and coordinate training programs, workshops, and talks covering harassment management, de-escalation techniques, and post-incident care.
- Develop communication materials, advisories, and awareness campaigns to promote a strong proactive safety culture.
- Support emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and crisis response activities.
What You Should Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of WSH experience, ideally within healthcare facilities.
- Good level of understanding of WSH standards, emergency preparedness frameworks, hazard identification, compliance risk management, and risk assessments
- Prior experience in workplace abuse/harassment management or staff wellbeing initiatives is advantageous.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent execution capabilities.
- Empathetic, resourceful, psychologically minded, and adept at stakeholder management and team collaboration.
It would be great if you:
- Have a MOM-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) Certificate
- SCDF-registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM).
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (Level 2).
