About the Client

Our client is a leading global investment organisation headquartered in Singapore , managing a diversified portfolio across multiple asset classes and global markets. The organisation operates a large-scale, highly secure enterprise technology environment and places strong emphasis on infrastructure resilience, operational excellence, security, and automation.

We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Engineer with strong hands-on Cisco networking expertise to support and manage complex enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 network engineering and operational support for enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage, configure, troubleshoot and optimise Cisco routers, switches and network infrastructure .
• Handle complex network incidents, perform root cause analysis and drive issues through to resolution.
• Support LAN/WAN, routing, switching and enterprise connectivity environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP .
• Manage VLANs, trunking, STP, HSRP/VRRP, ACLs and other Layer 2/Layer 3 networking technologies.
• Perform network implementation, configuration changes, upgrades, migrations and refresh activities.
• Support network availability, performance, capacity and reliability across production environments.
• Participate in troubleshooting of network connectivity, latency, packet loss and performance issues.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, application and operations teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Perform impact assessment and implementation of network changes in accordance with change management processes.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, SOPs and operational procedures.
• Support major incidents and provide technical expertise during critical production issues.
• Participate in network improvement, optimisation and automation initiatives.
• Ensure network infrastructure complies with enterprise security, resilience and operational standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on Network Engineering experience , preferably supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco routers and switches .
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking concepts .
• Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, trunking, ACLs and routing/switching .
• Strong network troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience handling L3 escalations, complex incidents and root cause analysis .
• Experience supporting highly available and business-critical production environments.
• Good understanding of network security principles and enterprise change management.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues through resolution.
• Experience within financial services, banking, investment management or other large enterprise environments will be advantageous.

Certifications

Candidates with relevant Cisco certifications will have an advantage:

• CCNP Enterprise
• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure (CCIE-EI)
• Other relevant Cisco professional-level certifications
