L1.5 Network Engineer (Routing & Switching)_Contract
Your tasks
- Monitor and support enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot network incidents and perform Level 1.5 support.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Execute network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams and vendors.
- Maintain network documentation and operational reports.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in network operations/support.
- Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies.
- Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Huawei, or HPE networking equipment.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or ManageEngine.
Preferred
- CCNA certification.
- Exposure to SD-WAN, Wireless, Firewalls, or Cloud Networking.
