DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes / OpenShift & Observability)_ Changi _ Contract

Your tasks

We are hiring a hands-on DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to support cloud-native applications and enterprise observability platforms within a leading financial institution.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage and troubleshoot containerised applications using Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or ArgoCD.
• Implement application monitoring, metrics collection and dashboards using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate with development teams on application instrumentation, logging and distributed tracing.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, application performance issues and production incidents.
• Support automation, production releases and platform reliability improvements.

• 2–6 years of relevant DevOps, SRE or cloud engineering experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes/OpenShift and Docker experience.
• Practical CI/CD experience.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana or similar monitoring platforms.
• Linux administration and scripting knowledge.
• Exposure to OpenTelemetry, Spring Boot instrumentation, Kafka, Mimir, Tempo or ClickHouse is advantageous.
• Banking or financial services experience is a plus, not mandatory.
