Your tasks
Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Integrate data from various internal and external sources into data platforms or data warehouses.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and transformation processes.
- Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot job failures, and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Developers, Business Users, and other stakeholders to support data requirements.
- Support data migration, reporting, analytics, and system integration initiatives.
- Implement data quality checks, documentation, and best practices for data governance and security.
- Work on cloud-based data solutions, preferably using AWS services.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools, data integration, data pipelines, and data warehousing.
- Proficient in SQL and familiar with relational databases.
- Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, or related services).
- Familiar with data modeling, data quality, performance optimization, and batch/scheduled jobs.
- Understanding of banking data, security, governance, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Experience working in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries is preferred.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
