To assist the Rector in performing leadership functions and oversee academic and administrative activities of the Mental Health Nursing Division to ensure effective and efficient operations

Job Summary

Assist the Rector to perform leadership functions adn oversee the day-to-day running of the academic and administrative activities of the Mental Health Nursing Division Lead in developing and implementing administrative and academic policies of the Mental Health Nursing Division Supervise and coordinate operational activities in the division Provide exemplary leadership for the achievement of the objectives of the division Ensure the maintenance and sustenance of academic and professional standards Provides direction on academic, research and operational policies of the division Ensure the development of the capabilities, skills and knowledge of staff in division Undertake any other duties that may be assigned by the Rector

Qualification Required & Experience Applicant must have:

A master's degree in mental health nursing or an equivalent discipline A professional mental health nurse or an equivalent professional discipline Minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience in public service of which 7 years have been acquired at a senior management level A fellow of GCNM and Experience using a variety of computer applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
