Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Ikeja. The Sales Executive will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and manage relationships with individual and corporate clients, and promote NSIA Insurance products and services across designated markets. The role involves conducting client needs assessments, preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating terms, and closing sales in line with company targets. The Sales Executive will follow up on leads, maintain accurate sales records, and collaborate with underwriting, claims, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience. The role also includes participating in marketing initiatives, providing regular sales reports, and staying current with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and NSIA product offerings. Qualifications
Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals. Client relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to understand and respond to diverse client needs. Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both in-person and in writing. Basic financial and insurance literacy, with the capacity to explain product features, benefits, and risk considerations clearly. Ability to work with targets, analyze sales performance, and use CRM or related tools for tracking activities. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or sales are an advantage. Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a similar regulated sector is preferred. Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and adaptability, with a commitment to NSIA’s values and ethical standards. Willingness to work on-site in Ikeja and occasionally travel within the region for client meetings or business development activities.
