About you We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished .NET Developer to join our talented Portal team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise in modern .NET development, frontend skills, and a passion for working with cutting-edge AI technology. As a key player in our organization, you should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software, building scalable systems, and continuously learning new technologies. Purpose of role In the Portal, we're building innovative User Management, Identity Provider, SCIM solutions. This is an opportunity to contribute to an active, growing AI platform and expand its capabilities through practical, hands-on development. We are looking for a practical, hands-on developer who will help us build, improve, and extend the chat system by implementing real features using established libraries and modern best practices. No prior AI/LLM experience required - we're looking for strong software engineers who are excited to learn and work with cutting-edge AI technology. If you have solid engineering fundamentals and curiosity about AI, we'll help you develop the AI-specific skills. Your role includes: Building and maintaining both backend (.NET) and frontend (VUE/React/TypeScript) components

Implementing AI agent features and LLM integrations using established frameworks

Developing real-time streaming conversation systems

Creating document ingestion and processing pipelines

Contributing to technical decisions and architectural improvements

Collaborating with Product Managers and the engineering team to deliver high-quality features

What you'll be doing Technology Build and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient .NET code

Develop responsive React applications with TypeScript and modern frontend practices

Integrate with multiple LLM providers (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock)

Implement real-time streaming systems using WebSocket/SSE

Work with vector databases and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns

Ensure code quality through testing, type hints, and code reviews

Keep the technology stack up to date and follow best practices

Process Follow established development processes and advocate for continuous improvement

Write clean, well-documented code with comprehensive tests

Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions

Use modern development tools and practices (Git, Docker, CI/CD)

Challenge yourself and the team to enhance working methods

Contribute to technical documentation and internal education

Collaboration Work closely with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders

Participate in planning and architectural discussions

Share knowledge and mentor team members on technical topics

Communicate effectively in English (written and spoken)

Take ownership of features from design to deployment

What you will bring For the role of Software Engineer in our Portal team at nShift, we are seeking candidates who embody the following characteristics: Technical Proficiency : Strong hands-on experience with .NET. Experience with API design, database optimization, and system architecture thinking is essential. Experience with LLMs, AI agent frameworks, vector databases and TypeScript is a distinct advantage, but not mandatory - these can be learned on the job. Problem-Solving Ability : You have strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex systems and find elegant solutions. Learning Mindset : Genuine curiosity about AI/ML and eagerness to learn new technologies. You are comfortable reading documentation and learning new frameworks quickly. Quality Focus : You maintain high standards in code quality, testing, and software craftsmanship. You understand the importance of writing maintainable, well-tested code. Effective Communication : Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential for ensuring seamless communication within the team and with stakeholders. Competence and Experience Requirements Must Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong .NET

Solid AWS knowledge

React and TypeScript proficiency

RESTful APIs, WebSockets, streaming responses

PostgreSQL and SQL optimization

Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals

Git and code review practices

Preferred (Nice to Have) Any experience with LLMs (personal projects, side projects, API integrations)

AI agent frameworks (LangChain)

Vector databases (PostgreSQL with pgvector, OpenSearch)

Document processing and OCR

AWS services (Bedrock, S3, EKS)

Experience with real-time data processing

Education BS degree in Computer Science or related field

Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience

Proven track record of building and maintaining production systems
