QMS Specialist
Are you passionate about solving complex business challenges through simple, practical solutions? Do you enjoy finding better ways of working and turning ideas into tangible results? Can you see connections across processes, people, data, technology, and business needs, and translate those insights into meaningful improvements? If so, you may be the person we are looking for.
In Quality Processes, we continuously work to improve and transform critical quality processes across Novo Nordisk. Our ambition is to simplify complexity, improve business performance, strengthen user experience, and leverage data and technology to create more effective ways of working. One of our current priorities is the transformation of the training process, where we are exploring new ways to simplify training assignment, reduce manual work, and increase the value delivered to the business.
We are looking for a QMS Specialist who can help turn improvement opportunities into practical solutions that create measurable business value. Someone who understands the bigger picture, connects insights across processes and stakeholders, and drives initiatives from idea through implementation and value realization. The successful candidate combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and is motivated by delivering meaningful improvements that make work simpler, more effective, and more valuable for the organisation.
The position
You will join the team as QMS Specialist and Process Manager for the corporate training process and you will play a key role in one of Novo Nordisk's most significant process transformation initiatives.
Working closely with the Process Owner, Process Managers, stakeholders, digital teams, learning specialists, and subject matter experts, you will help shape the future of training by making it simpler, more targeted, and more effective.
You will operate in an environment where not all answers are known upfront. Success therefore requires curiosity, pragmatism, sound judgement, and a strong ability to translate opportunities into measurable business outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Execute end-to-end transformation initiatives, from identifying business challenges and opportunities through implementation, change adoption, and value realization.
Develop practical solutions to complex business challenges by simplifying processes, improving user experience, and leveraging process, data, digital, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Drive discovery, experimentation, and continuous improvement activities, including workshops, pilots, and data-driven analyses to validate concepts, measure impact, and guide decision-making.
Collaborate across Quality, Line of Business, Digital, Learning Systems, and AI teams to design and deliver integrated end-to-end solutions.
Build stakeholder engagement and alignment across a diverse global landscape to ensure successful adoption and sustainable outcomes.
Design future solutions that balance compliance, business needs, user experience, and operational efficiency, while incorporating external best practices and industry insights.
Most importantly, you will be expected to move seamlessly between strategy and execution. You will not only help shape the future state but actively contribute to building it and delivering measurable results. The role therefore requires someone who enjoys both defining the direction and rolling up their sleeves to make things happen.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect that you:
Hold a master’s degree within science, engineering, business, quality, or a related discipline, combined with substantial experience in quality processes, business transformation, process optimisation, operational excellence, or similar areas.
Have a proven track record of personally driving complex improvement initiatives from problem definition and solution design through implementation, adoption and measurable value realisation.
Combine strategic and end-to-end thinking with a hands-on approach, taking ownership of the analysis, planning, solution development, stakeholder coordination and practical tasks required to deliver results.
Use data confidently to identify opportunities, make decisions and measure impact, and can create structure, maintain momentum and make pragmatic decisions when not all answers are available.
Build alignment and drive change across functions through strong facilitation, collaboration and communication, ensuring discussions and workshops lead to clear decisions, concrete actions and implemented solutions.
This role is for someone who does not stop at identifying what could be improved. You take ownership of making the improvement happen and stay engaged until the solution is implemented and delivering value.
Experience within training management, capability development, digital learning systems, process governance, or regulated environments will be considered an advantage.
