Associate P&O Director
Your impact begins here
As Associate P&O Director, you will be the strategic People & Organisation partner to the Global Vice President of AI & Digital Innovation and an active member of the ADI leadership team. You will turn business priorities into clear people plans with owners, actions and measurable outcomes, shaping how the organisation is designed, led and developed. Your advice will help leaders build the capabilities, performance culture and organisational health ADI needs to move forward with clarity and speed.
What you’ll bring
You are an experienced P&O partner who is comfortable at the leadership table and confident enough to challenge it. You will bring:
A relevant bachelor’s degree.
8+ years relevant HR experience, including 5+ years partnering with senior business leaders.
Proven expertise across P&O areas such as organisational design and effectiveness, talent and succession, performance culture and workforce planning.
Experience leading the people side of business change and transformation, such as M&A, organic growth or divestitures.
Strong business and financial acumen, with the analytical skills to combine people data and business insight into practical recommendations.
The ability to coach, challenge and influence senior leaders without formal authority, and to handle sensitive conversations with sound judgement and confidentiality.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Desirable, but not essential: An HR professional certification, experience from the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, regional experience, and an understanding of how digitalisation and AI are changing skills and work.
What you’ll do
You will shape and drive the P&O agenda for ADI, working closely with leaders to turn strategy into action:
Act as a trusted sparring partner to the GVP and leadership team, translating business strategy into P&O plans with clear priorities and measures of success, and leading the P&O part of strategic projects.
Strengthen organisational effectiveness by assessing accountabilities, spans and layers, decision rights and interfaces, and by partnering with Finance on workforce scenarios, critical skills, capacity and people costs.
Guide leaders through the annual P&O cycle, compensation, engagement, talent and succession, and performance reviews, ensuring consistent calibration, meaningful conversations and follow-through.
Build a strong performance culture and an engaging, inclusive workplace by coaching leaders on feedback and accountability and using employee insights to act on root causes.
Lead the people side of change and future capabilities, from readiness and adoption to succession, internal mobility, leadership onboarding and the reskilling needs created by digitalisation and AI.
Who you’ll work with
You will join P&O Business Partnering, where colleagues help create an engaging, inclusive workplace and attract and develop the talent needed to support Novo’s purpose. You will report to the Director, Senior P&O Business Partner.
Your closest partners will be the ADI GVP, the ADI leadership team and line-of-business leaders. You will act as the bridge between the business and Global P&O, connecting leaders with P&O Centres of Excellence such as Reward, Recruitment, Legal and Health & Safety, and working with Finance, Digital and operational partners. Where relevant, you will also engage with employee representatives and external advisers.
Working across functions and cultures, you will help leaders resolve competing priorities, decide and move forward together.
What you can expect here
You will have a real seat at the leadership table, with the trust to work independently and make decisions within your scope, including recruitment and the execution of projects and pilots. You will mentor senior P&O colleagues, share best practices across the area and test new ways of working before they scale.
You will also build your own skills as Novo upskills its entire workforce to advance AI, using approved digital and AI tools responsibly in your daily work. Clear expectations, honest feedback and a culture that rewards results will help you deliver your best work.
