Your mission at NOVAE:

As part of a large-scale industrial project, we are looking for an HSES Site Manager to guarantee excellence in Health, Safety, Environment, and Security across the entire site. As a true HSES referent, you will drive the site's safety policy, support operational teams and subcontracting companies, and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements as well as the group's safety standards. Your objective: to achieve zero accidents by developing a strong and exemplary safety culture in the field. Reporting to the Project Management, you are the guarantor of the site's HSES performance and drive all prevention actions with teams and subcontractors. Main missions: Deploy and drive the site's HSE policy while ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements and Group standards.

Manage HSE teams and support operational managers in risk management.

Supervise subcontractors, validate their HSE plans, risk analyses, and safety documents.

Control critical site activities (work at height, confined spaces, heavy lifting, excavations, radiography, pneumatic/hydraulic work, and chemical product management).

Ensure the proper application of work permits and associated safety procedures.

Conduct field audits, inspections, and Safety Walkdowns, identify discrepancies, and ensure the follow-up of corrective actions.

Drive the safety culture through ToolBox Talks, training, and team awareness sessions.

Exercise your authority to interrupt any activity presenting an unacceptable risk and actively promote the Life Saving Rules.

Profile Higher education in HSE, QHSE, or Risk Prevention.

Proven experience in HSES management on high-criticality industrial sites.

Solid expertise in heavy industrial environments and high-risk activities.

Recognized field profile, with a strong operational presence and the ability to support teams closely alongside activities.

Successful experience in managing HSES teams and coordinating multiple subcontracting companies.

Mastery of prevention tools, risk analysis, work permits, and site safety standards.

Natural leadership, ability to enforce HSES requirements and make strong decisions when the situation requires it.

Proven ability to suspend or stop an activity in case of uncontrolled risk.

Experience in construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases of industrial installations.

Professional English is indispensable to evolve in an international environment.
