Digital Operations Manager M/F

Context: As part of the reorganization of its Training activity, integrating digital programs, NOVAE is looking for its future Digital Operations Manager to support the development and structuring of its digital activities. The teams design and develop custom digital solutions primarily intended for the aeronautics, energy, mobility, and industry sectors. These solutions address challenges in training, maintaining and developing skills, transferring knowledge, and supporting business transformations.

The projects carried out cover a wide spectrum of digital solutions: e-learning modules, educational videos, motion design, simulators, emulators, immersive experiences, interactive applications, and technical documentation. The role contributes to representing NOVAE's digital expertise, guaranteeing the quality of achievements, and supporting the development of the activity with high-requirement clients. Acting as a true interface between management, production teams, sales functions, and clients, the manager plays a key role in structuring the organization, optimizing resources, and ensuring project success. Job Purpose The Digital Operations Manager drives the operational activity of digital programs, supports team development, and guarantees the successful completion of projects, while respecting quality, cost, and deadline commitments. Their role is to create a balance between strategic vision, operational excellence, and field proximity in order to support the growth of the digital activity. Experience in aeronautics is indispensable for this position. Main Responsibilities Management and team development. You will ensure the direct management of 8 employees based in Bayonne, within an organization comprising approximately 18 productive employees spread across several sites. You will support various technical and creative profiles: junior and senior developers, project managers, graphic designers, art directors, pedagogical and technical writers, 3D experts. Your responsibilities:

• Support employees in their professional evolution.
• Identify needs in skills, recruitment, and training.
• Develop versatility and encourage the sharing of expertise.
• Structure skill development paths.
• Lead exchange sessions and create a collective dynamic among teams.
• Maintain proximity to production to remain connected to operational challenges.

Digital activity management You are responsible for the proper organization of resources and production capacity. In particular, you will manage:

• The construction and optimization of team schedules.
• Monitoring the workload plan and anticipating future needs.
• Resource allocation according to the skills required for projects.
• Coordination of activities between different sites.
• Monitoring operational performance indicators.
• Identification of risks and implementation of associated action plans.

Depending on the needs of the activity, you may also intervene directly in managing strategic projects. Structuring methods and operational excellence: You support the structuring of the activity to guarantee a constant level of requirement in achievements. You are notably in charge of:

• Defining and evolving working methods.
• Implementing production standards and best practices.
• Guaranteeing the technical and operational quality of deliverables.
• Ensuring compliance with frameworks and standards.
• Participating in the continuous improvement of processes.

Technical support and commercial support: In close link with the Sales Department, you provide your technical expertise during business development phases. You intervene in:

• Analysis of client needs.
• Definition of adapted technical solutions.
• Construction of responses to specifications and calls for tender.
• Estimation of workloads and project costing.
• Presenting the expertise of the teams during client meetings.
• Participation in project steering committees.

In an international context, you will also be required to communicate with English-speaking interlocutors and represent NOVAE during technical or commercial presentations.

Activity development You actively contribute to the growth of digital programs by:

• Supporting the diversification of activities and markets.
• Identifying new development opportunities.
• Strengthening the visibility of NOVAE's digital expertise.

Profile sought Education

• Higher education such as Engineer or equivalent.
• Field: computer science, software development, interactive systems, simulation, real-time 3D, software engineering, or similar technical environment.
• Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, Scrum...) are appreciated.

Professional experience You have a minimum of 8 to 15 years of experience in complex technical environments. In particular, you have:

• Confirmed experience in direct management of technical teams (5 to 15 people).
• Experience acquired in an SME, a start-up, a digital studio, an agile technological structure, or an autonomous subsidiary of a large group.
• The habit of managing several subjects simultaneously in constrained environments.
• Experience in team structuring or supporting a growth phase.
• Experience in managing cross-functional projects involving several professions.
• Practice in client relations and pre-sales: costing, presentation of solutions, construction of technical offers.

Experience in digital learning, e-learning, simulation, or immersive environments is an advantage.

Conditions Collective agreement: Syntec Remuneration:

• 60 to 65 K€ gross annual.
• Performance bonus that can reach 1.5 months' salary, based notably on commercial performance, project delivery within defined objectives (OTD/OQD), and client satisfaction.

Travel:

• Occasional travel in France and internationally according to the needs of the activity.
• Participation in trade fairs and professional events.
