In industry, an essential part of know-how still relies on the experience of teams: methods known by experts, best practices acquired over the years, information scattered across different documents… or sometimes simply in the heads of those who master the trade.

👉 NOVAE is looking for an Industrial Technical Writer / Technical Writer capable of capturing, structuring, and transforming this expertise into clear, standardized documentation that is directly usable by operational teams.

🎯 YOUR MISSION: TRANSFORMING EXPERTISE INTO KNOWLEDGE

Reporting to the Knowledge Management Project Manager, you will work in close collaboration with Business Process Owners (BPO) and technical experts.

Your role will be that of a true bridge between experts and users.

You will need to seek out information, understand it, challenge it, and then transform it into simple and structured content.

Concretely, you will be required to:

• interview business and technical experts to extract their know-how;
• identify and consolidate information that is currently scattered;
• understand complex industrial and technical subjects;
• organize and prioritize information;
• transform collected knowledge into processes, standards, and specifications;
• write clear, precise, and easily usable technical documents;
• create a structured and coherent documentary library;
• standardize documentation formats and methods;
• adapt the level of language to the target audience;
• guarantee the accuracy, consistency, and homogeneity of the produced content.

The objective is very concrete: to allow operational teams to quickly find the right information, understand it, and above all, be able to apply it.

🧠 YOU DO NOT JUST WRITE

This is one of the essential dimensions of the position.

We are looking for someone capable of conducting a true active information extraction process.

When faced with an expert who perfectly masters their trade but whose knowledge is not yet formalized, you know how to ask the right questions: How do you proceed? Why? In what order? What are the exceptions? What are the points of vigilance? What seems obvious to an expert but will not be to a new user?

👉 Then you transform these exchanges into simple, logical, precise, and usable documentation.

✍️ YOUR EXPERTISE

You have proven experience in technical writing, industrial documentation, knowledge management, or a related field.

You particularly master:

• information architecture;
• documentary writing and structuring;
• analysis and understanding of technical information;
• interview and knowledge extraction techniques;
• documentary standardization;
• analysis of needs and target audiences;
• Simplified Technical English – STE;
• transforming complex data into intuitive and easy-to-consult content.

🤖 GOOGLE WORKSPACE & GEMINI

The position also includes a collaborative tools and AI dimension.

Proven mastery of Google Workspace is required, particularly:

• Google Docs
• Google Sheets
• Google Slides
• Google Drive

You are also familiar with Gemini and its use in a professional environment.

The challenge is not to use AI to "produce text," but to know how to integrate it intelligently into a process where the reliability and rigor of technical information remain essential.

🌍 AN INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

You will be required to work on content and with interlocutors in an international context.

🇫🇷 French: B2 minimum 🇬🇧 English: B2 minimum

You must be sufficiently comfortable to interview, understand, synthesize, and formalize technical information in this environment.
