PAPERMAKING PROCESS ENGINEER

About the company

NOVAE is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to work with a manufacturer of machines intended for the papermaking industry.

Your tasks

A position with a high technical dimension, where you will intervene from process design to the commissioning of installations.

🎯 YOUR MISSION Design, size, and optimize the industrial processes necessary for the operation of papermaking machines, in collaboration with technical teams and international suppliers.

🔧 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Define the processes:

• pulp supply
• water circuits
• rinsing
• vacuum
• steam
• condensates

✅ Perform the sizing of installations and fluid circuits.

✅ Select equipment: pumps, valves, and process materials.

✅ Participate in technical choices with Purchasing and European and Asian suppliers.

✅ Define equipment layout using AutoCAD or PDMS.

✅ Collaborate with Mechanical and Automation design offices.

✅ Participate in functional analyses and define operating sequences.

✅ Write technical documentation and training manuals in English.

✅ Supervise commissioning, testing, and installation compliance.

✅ Contribute to the performance optimization of production lines.

Requirements

Do you know how to design an industrial installation, size its equipment, and support it through to commissioning?

👤 YOUR PROFILE You are a Process Engineer, Senior Process Engineer, Fluid Process Engineer, or Lead Process Engineer.

Your indispensable skills 🔹 Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial process engineering.

🔹 Mastery of fluid circuit sizing: water, steam, condensates, vacuum.

🔹 Expertise in the selection and sizing of process equipment.

🔹 Proficiency in AutoCAD or PDMS.

🔹 Knowledge of functional analyses and automation interfaces.

🔹 Experience in commissioning and startup of industrial installations.

🔹 Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

🔹 Technical written English for documentation.

⭐ Experience in the papermaking industry is a real asset, but profiles from fluid processes, industrial utilities, or complex installations are also sought.

Mastery of P&ID, training from Grenoble INP – Pagora, and experience with international projects will be appreciated.
