Job Context As part of an international aeronautical training program, the company is recruiting a specialized avionics instructor, specifically in navigation and armament systems (SNA) on the Mirage 2000 fighter jet. The mission aims to support local instructors in mastering theoretical avionics/armament courses and in adapting practical work to the equipment available locally (cannons, ejectors, inert bombs and missiles, ejection seats, etc.) in the United Arab Emirates. The pedagogical content will be integrated into a program defined by the local training organization, which retains responsibility for its curricula. The support will extend throughout the students' entire specialization year. Main Missions

  • Provide pedagogical support ("back-office") to instructors working on-site, maintaining regular contact remotely or through any authorized means.
  • Write and adapt practical work manuals when transposing training to the Mirage 2000 avionics/armament equipment available on-site in the Emirates.
  • Occasionally participate in practical work on-site in the Emirates during specific avionics/armament phases.
  • Analyze, improve, and complete existing course materials (Word documents and PowerPoint presentations).
  • Write evaluation questionnaires (MCQs).
  • Respond to requests from the project technical manager regarding the basic training of aeronautical maintenance technicians.
  • Guarantee the consistency, regulatory compliance, and traceability of pedagogical content.

Note: The volume of practical work will depend on the availability of demilitarized equipment. For information purposes, up to 345 hours of practical work are planned, corresponding to approximately ten stays of one to two weeks.

Prior Training A preparation phase is planned in Mérignac in order to:

  • Master the avionics and armament training syllabi related to the Mirage 2000,
  • Analyze existing pedagogical content,
  • Master EMAR / FR Part 66 regulatory requirements (notably Appendix I),
  • Harmonize pedagogical methods and tools used.
