Context ✈️ As part of the strengthening of our teams, we are looking for an FAI Controller M/F to work at one of our clients, a major player in the defense industry and a European leader in the design of armored vehicles. Are you passionate about product quality, dimensional inspection, and aeronautical requirements? This position will allow you to work on the validation of the first manufactured parts (First Article Inspection) and contribute directly to the production launch of high value-added components. Within the Quality department, you will ensure the monitoring and validation of FAI (First Article Inspection) files in order to guarantee the conformity of the first manufactured parts before their series production launch. In this capacity, your missions will be as follows: Prepare FAI files in accordance with internal quality processes and customer requirements.
Perform complete monitoring of First Article Inspection until the final validation of the files.
Perform dimensional inspection of mechanical parts.
Write inspection reports and the documents necessary for the launch of series production.
Verify and validate workshop documents as well as inspection ranges in collaboration with the 3D Inspection department.
Extract dimensions and geometric characteristics from CATIA models.
Analyze inspection results and identify any non-conformities.
Guarantee compliance with Quality, Cost, Deadline, and Safety (QCDS) requirements.
Participate in the continuous improvement of quality control processes.
You are recognized for your rigor and your taste for well-done work. You like to evolve in a demanding industrial environment where quality is a major issue. Your technical skills 💼 Education: Bac+2 to Bac+5 in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Metrology, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
A first experience of 2 to 3 years in quality control, FAI control, or series control in an industrial environment.
Mastery of dimensional inspection techniques.
Good reading of mechanical drawings and functional dimensioning (GPS).
Knowledge of FAI (First Article Inspection) requirements and aeronautical quality processes (knowledge of the AS9102 standard is a plus).
Use of CATIA for dimension extraction and 3D model analysis.
Good mastery of IT tools and office software.
