Our client 🚨 As part of our engineering activities, we are looking for a Purchasing Project Manager to work for a major player in the land defense industry. Integrated into a vehicle project team, you will be the central point of contact between the project and purchasing. Your role: drive and coordinate all purchasing activities to ensure the achievement of Quality / Cost / Deadline objectives. A strategic, cross-functional position with high visibility, at the heart of industrial issues. Missions You will drive the purchasing activities of an industrial project in connection with the technical teams and category buyers. In this capacity, you will be required to: Define and manage the schedule of the project's purchasing activities

Coordinate the actions of category buyers (multi-technology)

Ensure the monitoring of QCD objectives (Quality / Cost / Deadline)

Plan and monitor budgets (notably tooling)

Prepare and lead sourcing committees

Monitor the progress of consultations and awards

Implement and drive purchasing KPIs

Build and monitor project dashboards

Organize and lead progress meetings

Ensure reporting to project teams and management

Drive the purchasing quality process

Monitor the economic performance of purchases

Integrate export control constraints into project management

ability to monitor KPIs and budgets

Knowledge of purchasing standards in the automotive sector is a plus. Initial experience in defense is appreciated. A fluent level of English is required (written and oral). Occasional travel is to be expected (France and international). Your personal qualities ✨ Excellent interpersonal skills
