Fitter Assembler M/F
Type of contract 12-month contract via NOVAE, with the possibility of direct hiring by the client at the end of the mission Remuneration at 30 to 37 CAD / hour 🕒 Hours Day: 06:00 – 14:30 (5 days/week)
Night: 14:00 – 00:33 (4 days/week from Monday to Thursday, 10h/day)
Weekend: from 07:00 (Friday to Monday)
Purpose of the position Perform and guarantee the precise assembly of sheet metal components intended for the aerospace industry, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and safety requirements. Main missions Study and interpret engineering plans, technical drawings, and specifications to understand assembly requirements
Use various hand tools, power tools, and machines to cut, shape, and form sheet metal components in accordance with specifications
Assemble sheet metal parts and components to create sub-assemblies or finished products, respecting strict quality standards.
Perform thorough inspections of assembled components to guarantee their accuracy, quality, and compliance with aerospace industry standards.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances, performing necessary adjustments.
Handle and store sheet metal materials safely, ensuring proper organization and inventory control.
Work closely with other members of the manufacturing team, including engineers and machinists, to ensure seamless integration of sheet metal components into larger assemblies.
Comply with all safety protocols and instructions, thereby contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Training DEP montage mécanique or DEP Montage de structures aéronautiques
or BEP / Bac Pro aéronautique (or equivalent)
Experience Minimum 4 years of experience in the manufacturing, aerospace, warehousing, or construction sectors.
Technical skills Experience on DASH-8 Q400 or CL415, CL515 models
Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal manufacturing machines.
Ability to interpret and understand drawings, plans, and technical specifications
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all safety instructions
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 22.7 kg (50 lb).
Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) issued by Transport Canada.
