GPON Access Network Engineer

Your tasks

Your Role will be: To resolve problems in Mass Fixed Access technologies that affect the service or have the potential to do so, and to act in their resolution.

Your main challenges will be

• Perform diagnosis and management of problems in Mass Fixed Access platforms until their resolution. These technologies are: GPON, Packet Core Fijo, and IP.
• Handle requests and complaints from internal customers, providing follow-up and resolution.
• Support field personnel with diagnostics, perform remote command execution, etc.
• Interact with different areas of the company, providers / customers, and follow up on new projects that arise in the area.
• Participate in the integration of new platforms.

Requirements

What do we need from you?

• Seniority of more than one and a half years in the company and in your last job position.
• Professionals, advanced students, or graduates in Engineering and/or specialized Technicians with knowledge in telecommunications.
• Verifiable technical experience in networking (CCNA knowledge is mandatory).
• Technical English for communication with providers (intermediate level).
• Proficiency in automation and Big Data tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Elastic, etc.) will be valued.
